Lexi & James – Historic Dubsdread Ballroom Wedding – March 28th, 2021

I first met Lexi at UCF when she hired me to photograph her senior portraits all over campus. We honestly had the best time together, and her session was one of my favorites from the season! I had hope that one day our paths would cross again, and only a few years later I received the best email ever, Lexi was engaged and ready to get married! Together, with her fiance James, Lexi chose Historic Dubsdread Ballroom as the venue, and I knew it was going to be absolutely perfect.

When we arrived for their day, at the little Air BnB down the street, Lexi was prepping with her ladies and enjoying the morning quietly with lovely conversation. We then packed the cars and headed to Historic Dubsdread Ballroom for their first look. It was perfect, and James had the best reaction to seeing his bride for the first time that day.

The rest of their wedding day went off without a hitch. The beautiful florals from Patina and Petals were stunning, the ballroom was set up for perfection, and the cake was just the icing this day needed! I loved being able to spend the day with two people, truly in love, who I also knew were my people from the start. That is why I adore my job so much, I get to spend it with my people, on their biggest day ever!
