In the heart of the tranquil mountains of Canton, North Carolina, just a stone’s throw away from Asheville, lies the enchanting Chestnut Ridge wedding venue. It was here, amidst the timeless elegance of white, black, greens, and neutral hues that our lovely couple, Abigail and Matt, chose to celebrate their love in a classic, modern, and timeless themed wedding.

Abigail and Matt’s love story began in the bustling city of Charlotte, North Carolina, at the end of 2018. United by their shared passion for music, they connected instantly, as though their souls had known each other for an eternity. Their connection blossomed into a beautiful relationship that saw them move to Colorado in 2020 with their beloved dogs, Baron and Hazel. The stunning landscapes of Colorado have been their home ever since, and they couldn’t be happier.

Their journey took a romantic turn during a trip to Europe in September of 2022. Nestled on the edge of Lake Brienz, Switzerland, amid the grandeur of a majestic hotel, Matt proposed to Abigail. As the sun set, painting the sky with hues of romance, he got down on one knee near a garden terrace overlooking the serene lake. It was a moment of pure perfection, etched in their hearts forever.

What makes their bond so special? It’s the little things – the endless conversations, the shared adventures, the peaceful moments of togetherness, and the deep soulful connection. Their love story is a testament to finding joy in everyday moments and cherishing the love that binds them together.

The wedding day dawned bright and beautiful, filled with anticipation and excitement. As the bridesmaids danced around, getting their hair and makeup done in the bridal suite, Abigail’s mother tenderly helped her into her dress. Her sister was by her side, helping her slip into her shoes. One of the most heartwarming moments of the day was when Abigail’s father saw his little girl in her bridal gown for the first time.

Excitement filled the air as Abigail and Matt had their first look under a majestic tree outside the main reception area. This intimate moment was made even more special as they whispered their personal vows to each other.
