However, fate had other plans. When Amy returned to the UK, she unexpectedly bumped into James at the restaurant where she was working. They reconnected and quickly realized they had something truly special.

A Romantic Proposal in Rome

Rome holds a special place in Amy and James’ hearts—it was where they had their first-ever holiday together as friends. So, when James decided to propose, he knew there was no better place. Amidst the timeless beauty of the Eternal City, he got down on one knee and asked Amy to be his forever. Their love, which had already overcome distance, was now set in stone in one of the most romantic cities in the world.

On November 18, 2024, Amy and James exchanged vows in the most magical place on earth. Their ceremony took place at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion, a venue surrounded by picturesque waters and offering breathtaking views of Cinderella’s Castle. It was a celebration that blended classic elegance with the magic of Disney. They chose a sophisticated color palette of creams, whites, baby pink, and grey. This created a timeless and romantic ambiance.

After their heartfelt ceremony, Amy and James celebrated at The Attic. They were joined by just 20 of their closest family and friends. The intimate gathering made their destination wedding feel extra special. The evening became even more magical when two very special guests arrived to help cut the cake. It was a moment that made their wedding even more unforgettable for their loved ones.

A Night to Remember at EPCOT

To conclude their magical Disney wedding, Amy and James hosted a dessert party at the UK Lochside in EPCOT. This location was especially meaningful to Amy, as she had once worked there as a Disney cast member. Surrounded by the twinkling lights of the park and with their loved ones by their side, the newlyweds watched a spectacular fireworks show. It was the perfect ending to their fairytale day.
