Their proposal was as meaningful as their story. After an intense stretch in the ICU during Lauren’s first year of anesthesia residency, Hascal surprised her with a getaway to Jamaica. Just hours after arriving, Lauren walked into a beautifully planned proposal. The moment was followed by a celebratory Zoom call with their closest friends and family. The remainder of the trip was spent soaking in the joy of their engagement.
