Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing some of the most incredible weddings at Walt Disney World, each with its own unique style and Disney magic. Today, I’m sharing five breathtaking Disney weddings that truly embody what it means to celebrate love in the most enchanting way.
A Whimsical, Moody Disney Wedding
Emma & Daniel Hurst
Date: October 30, 2024
Venue: Disney's Wedding Pavilion, Grand Floridian Marina, Contemporary Resort (Napa & Sonoma Rooms)
Emma and Daniel, a couple from the UK, celebrated their love with 25 guests in a wedding that beautifully blended whimsy with a touch of moodiness. Emma, a florist and the owner of Flourish and Bloom in the Isle of Man, was incredibly particular about the florals. Disney exceeded her expectations, making the day even more magical. Their wedding day began with Emma getting ready at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Daniel at Coronado Springs. Their emotional first look at Disney's Grand Floridian was followed by a ceremony at the Wedding Pavilion. Afterward, they enjoyed an intimate cocktail hour at the Grand Floridian Marina, serenaded by a violinist. The celebration continued with a reception at the Contemporary Resort, where guests were treated to a private fireworks view from the Napa Room balcony.

Amy and James’ dream wedding began at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion, where they exchanged vows in the most magical place on earth. With breathtaking views of Cinderella’s Castle, their ceremony was a blend of classic elegance and Disney enchantment. The couple chose a sophisticated color palette of creams, whites, baby pink, and grey, creating a timeless and romantic atmosphere. After the ceremony, Amy and James celebrated with an intimate reception at The Attic at the Boardwalk Resort, joined by just 20 of their closest family and friends. A magical moment followed when two very special guests arrived to help cut the cake, making it an unforgettable experience for everyone. Later, Amy and James hosted a private dessert party and fireworks viewing at the UK Lochside in Epcot, a place that held special significance for Amy, having worked in the UK Pavilion during her College Program at Walt Disney World. The day was a perfect blend of love, laughter, and Disney magic.

Natalie and Noah’s Disney wedding was nothing short of magical. With just 20 guests, they created an intimate celebration filled with love, adventure, and the enchantment that only Disney can provide. The couple began their day by getting ready at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort in separate rooms, keeping with Noah’s choice not to partake in the first look tradition. For him, the moment he would see Natalie in her stunning wedding gown was meant to be when the doors opened, and she walked down the aisle at Disney's Wedding Pavilion. Their ceremony was emotional and heartfelt, setting the tone for a beautiful day. Following the ceremony, the couple and their guests were transported by bus to EPCOT’s Italy Isola for an unforgettable cocktail hour and reception. The evening continued with a private fireworks viewing from the bridge in Italy, a magical moment under the stars that perfectly encapsulated their fairytale day. The celebration was a perfect mix of elegance, romance, and the pure Disney magic that Natalie and Noah had dreamed of.

Reona and Abe’s Disney wedding was truly magical, filled with personal touches. The couple opted for a unique and intimate start to their day by getting ready together in a concierge-level room at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, a departure from tradition that made their experience all the more special. Abe helped Reona into her stunning bridal gown, and together, they spent time capturing beautiful photos around the grounds of the resort, including the iconic grand staircase. Their ceremony at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion was heartfelt, surrounded by the beauty of the venue and the love of their closest family and friends. Afterward, they celebrated in style at the Grand Floridian’s ballroom, where they added some fun and personality to their reception. One memorable touch was the inclusion of Boba Tea for their guests, offering a unique and delightful treat. The celebration continued with high-energy dancing, including an epic breakdancing session with friends, making it a wedding day full of fun, laughter, and love.

Shonagh and Tommy’s wedding day was a stunning celebration filled with Disney magic and personal touches. The UK couple, with 25 guests, started their day at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, where Shonagh, a professional makeup artist and YouTube star (@showmemakeup), did her own makeup while a stylist finished her hair. Tommy and his groomsmen got ready in a private room before the ceremony at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion. Shonagh made a grand entrance with her twin sister in a horse-drawn carriage pulled by six white ponies, and after exchanging vows, the couple exited with a petal toss and rode off in the same carriage. Their reception at The Attic at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort was full of laughter, food, and dancing. To end the night, they walked to Epcot’s Germany Pavilion for a private dessert party and fireworks viewing, making their wedding day a magical and unforgettable experience.
